Glenn Keen, 52, was leaving the parking lot of Cucina Carini Italian Restaurant on Hainesport-Mount Laurel Road at around 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 when his vehicle was broadsided by another vehicle, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
Keen was flown to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he died of his injuries, while the driver of the other car was taken to an area hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, the prosecutor said.
No charges had been filed.
Keen and his wife Paula opened the restaurant in 1995, according to an online obituary. He is survived by his wife, two sons, his parents and a brother.
“Glenn is known for his strength, humility, and down-to-earth nature,” the obituary said. “He worked passionately throughout his life with his love and devotion to Paula, Vincenzo and Anthony as his guiding force in all things Glenn’s life and deeds embodied the word family,’ and his legacy will live on forever through his wife, sons and all who know and love him.”
Dozens of comments were posted with condolences on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
